Around a year ago at the end of May, a teenager from a Southern Lithuanian town named Alytus decided to go camping near Norūnai Lake where her sister, Agilė had gone missing a year ago and was never found. Rasita hoped to find some sort of closure about what happened to her sister, as the police investigation led nowhere. Everyone had lost hope to find her... It made the student very despondent.

As the fourteen-year-old literature club president arrived at the campsite, the surroundings looked just as haunting as the memory of her angry sister wearing a beautiful white dress and leaving the campsite a year ago before vanishing. The woods were thick, and the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind sounded ominous and sad. While setting up her green small tent, the sad teenager got a call from her girlfriend Elena.

"Hello,"  Rasita answered.

"Hi, Where are you? Your mother just called. She told me that you were planning to spend the weekend with me. Did you go to Norūnai Lake?"

"Sorry, I came here to learn what had happened to my sister." the sad student replied.

"I do support your grieving process, But you need to move on… Your older sister is in a better place. Sorry, but she won't come back. It was not your fault. Maybe therapy could help you."

"Agilė would never give up on me!" angry Rasita shouted "I know my sister is alive. Our bond is as strong as always. She’s somewhere out here. I will find her!"

A furious club president turned her phone off and started to cry…

As the night set in, Rasita started to feel uneasy. The schoolgirl had a strange feeling that she wasn't alone. She tried to push the thought out of her mind, closed her drowsy eyes and went to sleep. But she was soon awakened by steps near her tent. The fearless teen looked outside, but there was no one there.

In the morning, the girl found a dirty phone in front of her tent and turned it on. It was her sister’s mobile. She started to receive all the messages everyone sent her throughout the year. Happy Rasita looked around her small camp.

"Agilė!" she screamed "Where are you? Please show yourself! Don’t be afraid! We aren’t angry! We just want to know that you are safe! Please show yourself!"

Nobody answered the hopeful teenager. But the excited youngster was happy because she learnt that her missing sister was still alive. She must have tricked everyone and just ran away. She was just angry about whatever was said to her. She forgave and now wants to come back. Who else would have left her phone here?

Around midnight the exhausted girl drifted off to sleep. Half asleep Rasita heard a rustling sound outside her tent again. She was too tired to care and assumed it was just an animal wandering past her campsite. However, the sound persisted, and eventually, the teen heard a soft whisper calling her name.

"Rasita," the faint voice said. It was Agilė standing next to the girl.

"Sis!" the delighted student shouted in excitement "I cannot believe you are here! I’m so sorry I made you leave our camp!"

The leader of the literature club stood, embraced her older sister with a hug and started to cry. Agilė looked tired and was very cold. The teenager didn’t care because she found her missing sister who forgave her. Finally, the schoolgirl felt complete.

"Why did you come? You shouldn’t have come here" the sixteen-year-old missing adolescent said.

"What are you speaking about?" the confused teen asked "I came here to find you. I found you."

As they were sitting together and looking at each other’s happy blue eyes, siblings heard children laughing and running outside the tent. At that moment, Rasita came back to reality.

"Who are they?" the younger sibling asked her sister "What’s happening?"

Agilė didn’t replay or showed any emotions. She just silently stared at her confused younger sister.

Rasita took her new phone, turned the torch on, unzipped her doors and went outside. They heard old rustling trees above & many small figures reminding kids running around the green tent. The Moon was hidden behind dense clouds. It was very dark outside. A strong frosty wind blew straight at Rasita.

Suddenly, through the small space in between heavy dark clouds, the full Moon appeared… A bright light shined at the clearing around them. The fourteen-year-old schoolgirl screamed in terror because those small pale creatures weren't humans.

Those beings stopped running and turned their weirdly shaped heads towards the girl. Their piercing black eyes gazed straight at the petrified teen who smelt rotting death all around her.

The fearful student turned towards her dear sister. Moonlight shined at Agilė through the unzipped entrance. The missing teen didn’t move and her decomposing face was distorted in agony. Her empty grey eyes were wide open. They didn’t blink or move just stared at her.

"Run!" the deceased sister screamed and fell to the ground. Her decomposing body broke into pieces. Smiling Kaukas spirits surrounding them vanished into thin air.

Shocked Rasita looked at her sister's lifeless rotting remains wearing a blood-soaked dirty dress. The schoolgirl couldn't scream or move. She just stood there all alone in the black and scary forest as a freezing strong wind blew at her. A few minutes later, the teenager’s smartphone dropped down. She also fell to the frozen wet ground and started to cry in the all-consuming dark lonely despair...

"Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry... I'm so sorry I lied that I had slept with your boyfriend. I didn't mean for you to get angry and leave. I need you my dearest sister. Please, I beg you. Please, come back. I don't want to be alone. My life doesn't make sense without you."

In the morning, people found Rasita’s dead body near Norūnai Lake. She cut her wrist with a knife. There was a note written in blood left next to the dead literature club president. She wrote “Together forever…” before being embraced by nothingness.

It was a warm day in the small town of Miroslavas, and three high school classmates, Dovilė, Irena, and Algirdas, decided to skip Geography class to smoke weed in the forest. They had heard rumours that a boy with a green mask haunts the forest, but they didn't believe them.

As the teenagers walked deeper into the forest, they saw an old woman weeping next to two trees which were recently cut down. All of a sudden, she stopped crying, turned her head towards the youngsters, looked at them with piercing green cold eyes and shouted, - They took two of mine. I will take two of yours!

"Don’t look at her… the hag lost her marbles," Algirdas said.

"Let’s just ignore her… We need to find a place ASAP. Cheerleading practice will start in a couple of hours" Irena reminded Dovilė.

Soon they found a sunny clearing and put their bags on the floor. Their school's basketball star took the weed and started to smoke. He shared it with cheerleaders.

"I cannot believe that our teacher forced us to have an exam today."

"It’s a crime to do exams on such a beautiful day… The school year is almost over."

"I cannot believe that you both convinced me to skip the exam. Our parents will kill us."

"That’s the problem of tomorrow. Today we smoke!!! Ha ha ha..."

As they talked and laughed, they noticed that the forest had become eerily quiet. They shrugged it off, thinking it was just their imaginations.

Suddenly, they heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. Students froze. They didn't know if it was an animal or something else. As they waited in silence, they saw a figure emerge from the bushes. It was a boy with a green mask holding a sharp big knife in his right arm.

Three friends were terrified. They didn't know what to do. The mysterious boy started to walk towards them. As he got closer, students could see that his eyes were glowing green. Friends wanted to run, but they were too scared to move. The monster reminding a human continued to walk towards them, his eyes fixed on the teens. Suddenly, he lunged at them, and the girls started to scream, Algirdas grabbed a stick and punched the boy’s head. The mask broke into many pieces and the monster turned into tree branches.

"What was that? Did it really happen?" Irena asked her two shocked friends.

They looked at each other in confusion. Did they just see a monster or imagine that those branches on the floor were a monster? They took their things and walked as fast as they could back to the school.

When students got back, they told their classmates what had happened, but no one believed them. Their friends just laughed. The teenagers tried to forget about it, but they couldn't shake the feeling that it was not over yet.

A few days later, Irena disappeared. People searched for her, but the cheerleader was nowhere to be found. Irena’s parents reported her missing to the police, but authorities couldn't find any leads. They believed that she just ran away from home and soon was going to come back. It was not the first time she did it.

A week later, Algirdas and Dovilė met after school. Algirdas smiled and said – Looking beautiful as always.

The cheerleader smiled back. She came close to her boyfriend and kissed him.

"I really would love to see a movie. Let’s go to the cinema today."

"But it’s very late. We won’t make it on time."

"We can use a shortcut through the forest. It should save us enough time to see a good film."

"Don’t you remember what happened the last time we were there?"

"We got high on weed and saw weird delusion… Is the captain of our basketball team afraid of some hallucinations? Ha ha ha..."

"No, I’m not. Let’s go through the forest."

As the couple were walking through the dark forest they heard a voice calling out to them. Teenagers turned around and saw an attractive woman wearing a short dress made of wolf skin, standing a few feet away from them. Her cold green eyes were staring at teenagers. Irena was standing next to this celestial being. Youngsters recognised the cheerleader from her favourite dotted mini-skirt. Their missing friend was wearing a green mask and had a huge knife in her right arm.

The basketball team captain was frozen with fear. He just stood there with his brown eyes wide open.

"The monster from the forest came to kill us" terrified Algirdas mumbled to his emotionless girlfriend.

"Why did you cheat on me? You are a sleazy cheating bastard."

"What? I didn’t cheat on you."

"Don’t lie to me. The lady of the forest told me everything in the dream."

"Do you believe this pagan demon over me?"

"Irena confessed. Before I-"

"You told everyone that she had found a boyfriend in Alytus, - Algirdas interrupted his girlfriend - and she had run away with him..."

Dovilė looked into her boyfriend's brown eyes and smiled. Suddenly, she pushed the captain of a basketball team into the arms of Goddess Medeina. She ran as fast as she could… until she couldn’t hear her screaming former boyfriend anymore.

A few weeks later, Algirdas’ desperate cries still haunt her dreams. During the full Moon, the cheerleader sometimes sees through the window her two missing friends in the dark forest. They both wear green masks and silently stare at her room. Probably, they plan their revenge but Dovilė is safe as long as she won’t enter the forest.

The last May in Tolkūnai Village, three teenagers decided to run away from their homes for an adventure. Rasita had heard about an old haunted house in the dense forest near their village, and she convinced her best friend Skaistė and her crush sporty Donatas to explore it at night. They packed food, water, and warm clothes, and set out on their journey.

As they were walking through the forest, they noticed that the trees were unusually dense, and the air was thick with fog. The sound of their footsteps echoed through the eerie silence of the forest. Suddenly, Skaistė saw a creepy old abandoned wooden big building standing in the dark.

“Is that a haunted building,” scared Skaistė said, “We saw it. I think it’s enough. Should we just go home?”

“We already went all this way. Don’t be afraid Let's go inside and check it out” brave Donatas told his friends.

“Sorry Skaistė, I’m with Donatas on this one. Two against one. We win,” smiling Rasita said

Teenage friends entered the building and felt a chill run down their spines. They could sense that something was not right. Schoolmates heard strange noises coming from the walls. They found that the majority of doors and windows were locked, Donatas found unlocked doors. He smiled, looked at Rasita’s blue eyes and opened them.  He bowed down and said, “Ladies”.

Suddenly, Skaistė saw a white figure at the end of a long dark corridor. It was a teenage girl in a white dress. A moment later, a terrified teenage girl started to scream in fear.

“What happened”, concerned Rasita asked.

“I saw a ghost. There was a girl standing. Please let's go home. I want to go home”,

“Ghosts don’t exist. It’s just your imagination,” Donatas tried to calm Skaiste,

Schoolmates waited a few minutes for Skaistė to calm down. Donatas stood up opened the doors and let the girls enter the dark corridor. Friends used  lights on their mobiles in this scary room,

“Come on. There are no ghosts. Donatas will protect us,” Rasita told her best friend.

As they were walking down this creepy corridor suddenly doors closed. Donatas smiled, looked at Rasita and said “It’s just wind,”. Friends came back and tried to open the doors, But they were locked.

“Let's go home. I want to go home! I need to study math,” petrified Skaistė screamed in panic.

“It’s getting late. We need to find another exit,” worried Rasita said.

Donatas looked through a window and said, “I thought that we were on the ground floor”.

“Yes, we have never used stairs”.

“Look. How come we are on the top floor of this old building? It doesn't make sense”

Suddenly, a chilling ghost girl appeared at the other end of the dark corridor. She started to move slowly towards three youngsters. Fearful Skaistė and Rasita screamed. Donatas tried to brake the wooden doors. A horrifying pale spirit with black eyes was smiling in delight. She got new people to play with.

The bodies of three friends were never found.

In Nemunaitis Village nestled on top of the hill next to Nemunas River, there stood a vast, empty field. No one ever went there, as it was said to be cursed. One day, a lone chair appeared in the middle of the field. No one knew where it came from or who left it there, but it sent shivers down the spines of the villagers.

At first, the chair was just a curiosity. Children would sneak into the field to sit in it and take pictures. But as time went by, strange things began to happen. People would hear whispers from the chair, and the field would be shrouded in an eerie mist.

Some even claimed to have seen a dark figure lurking in the shadows.  The villagers tried to ignore the chair, but it seemed to have a life of its own. It would move from one spot to another, seemingly of its own accord. Some said that it was possessed by an evil spirit, while others believed that it was a gateway to another world.

One night, a group of teenagers decided to spend the night in the field, hoping to catch a glimpse of the mysterious chair. They set up camp near the edge of the field and waited. As the night wore on, the mist grew thicker, and the whispers grew louder. Suddenly, they heard a creaking sound, and the chair appeared out of nowhere, right in front of them. The teenagers froze in terror as the chair began to move independently. It spun around slowly as if searching for something. Then, it stopped abruptly, and a shadowy Maumas emerged from the mist. It was tall and thin, with long arms and legs. Its face was hidden in the darkness, but its eyes glowed red.

The teenagers screamed and ran, but Maumas chased after them. They stumbled and fell in the darkness, and the figure caught up to them. Its long fingers wrapped around their throats, and they gasped for air. They could see the chair in the distance as if beckoning them to come closer.

In the end, only one teenager survived. He stumbled back to the village, his eyes wide with terror. He told the others what had happened, but no one believed him. The chair was still there, in the middle of the field, waiting for its next victim.

The last summer, in a Lithuanian town named Alytus, there was a girl named Skirmantė. She was known for her beauty and charming personality. Skirmantė was the kind of girl who always got what she wanted, no matter what it took. She had a way of manipulating people to do her bidding.

One day, a new family moved into Alytus and Skirmantė saw an opportunity to charm the new boy, Nerijus. Nerijus was a shy and quiet boy, and Skirmantė saw him as easy prey. She started flirting with Nerijus and using her charms to lure him in.

As days went by, Nerijus became increasingly infatuated with Skirmantė. He would do anything to please her, even if it meant breaking the law. Skirmantė knew this, and she started using Nerijus to do her dirty work. She would ask him to steal, vandalize, and even hurt people who stood in her way.

Nerijus was too deep in love with Skirmantė to see what was happening. He was blinded by her beauty and charisma. Skirmantė, on the other hand, was playing a dangerous game. She was manipulating Nerijus to do her bidding, and she had no intention of stopping.

One night, Nerijus received a call from Skirmantė, asking him to meet her in the woods. When he arrived, he saw Skirmantė standing there in a white dress, looking as beautiful as ever. She told him to follow her, and they started walking deep into the woods.

As they walked, Nerijus began to feel uneasy. He had a feeling that something was not right. Skirmantė, on the other hand, seemed calm and collected. They finally reached a clearing in the woods, and Skirmantė turned to him and said, "I have a surprise for you."

Suddenly, Nerijus saw a group of people standing around a fire. They were all wearing black robes, and their faces were hidden. Skirmantė walked over to them, and they welcomed her with open arms. Nerijus tried to leave, but Skirmantė stopped him.

"You can't leave now," she said. "You're a part of this now."

Suddenly, Nerijus realized that Skirmantė had been using him all along. She had lured him into a cult, and he was now trapped. The people in the cult started chanting, and Skirmantė took a knife from her pocket. She walked over to Nerijus and whispered, "You're mine now."

The next day, Nerijus' parents reported him missing, but he was never found. Skirmantė disappeared from Alytus, and no one knew what had happened to her. Some say she was Laumė who used her beauty to manipulate people. Others say she was a demon who had come to town to wreak havoc.

To this day, people still talk about Skirmantė and the strange things that happened in Alytus. Some say she still wanders the woods, looking for her next victim. The only thing that is certain is that Skirmantė was a beautiful but manipulating girl who had a dark side that no one knew.
